I haven't tried Tradovate, but Ninja Trader is good. Normally $500 margin for daytrading index e-minis, $50 /contract for micros, double right now due to the high volatility. Very customizable and as fuzzyp44 mentioned, lots of people develop features, add-ons, custom indicators, etc. Honestly if your looking for orderflow tools, Quantower, Ninjatrader, and Jigsaw is best. Trading view doesn't have the tools that the other platforms have for trading. Only benefit of tradingview is the load of custom indicators, and coding language they have for it. The tradovate unfortunately only allows tradovate or ninjatrader, which has lacking features for me. DOM sucks on both and ninja has efficiency issues.
