Dec 10, 2018 · I'm a newbie to this site. I've the latest Carrier Infinity WiFi thermostat SYSTXCCITC01-B installed in March of this year. I'm having trouble with connection to the Myinfinity server. My wifi connection is fine and it works with everything else in the house with the exception of the intermittent connection with the MyInfinity server.

I wish I had seen this sooner. The infinity thermostat has not been great for me. I have the fancy carrier infinity thermostat. It is not worth it. I hate the controls, or lack of controls really. The ability to use a variable fan speed is a lie. The system determines fan speed and mine has never been adjustable. You can set 4 temperatures.

Yes, I have not been able to connect to my WiFi 6 access points running both 2.4g and 5g bands. All devices in home work fine except the Carrier thermostat. It worked with the Carrier ver 3.61 software, but stopped communicating on any version beyond 3.61. I had to downgrade from 4.05 to 3.61 for the thermostat to work correctly.
