Lightning spear is still kinda slow to cast, but it hits pretty hard and you get 11 casts. Great lightning spear is a moderately stronger version than Lightning Spear and ...Sunlight spear does some amazing damage. Biggest hit i've seen so far I think was in the 1300's, and it's really not that much slower than GLS. It's not as damage efficient as GLS or LS, especially considering the two attunement slots, but once you have 6+ attunement slots you don't really need to be efficient for anything. #4.Sunlight spear is the same as lightning and greater lightning spear but it does about 30% more damage, but it takes 2 attunement slots and only gives 4 casts so imho it's not worth it. If you have lots of attunement slots and nothing else to put there then sure, get it.

ItsAvalynch. • 3 yr. ago. Great Lightning Spear can one hit kill most mobs, extra damage from the Sunlight Spear in those cases wouldn't be worth it for 5 less casts & double the attunement slots. Even for stronger miniboss mobs using 3 GLS shots is still far better than using 2 Sunlight Spear shots. Take Sunlight Spear for bosses only.
